By using MergePNG (mergepng.org), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The site is offered as a free set of browser-based image tools.

What the service is

MergePNG provides tools that merge, convert, compress, split and resize image files. All processing happens locally in your web browser. Your files are not uploaded to us, which also means: if you close the tab before downloading your result, it cannot be recovered. Download your work when it is produced.

Permitted use

You may use the tools for any images you have the right to process. You may not use the site to process unlawful content, to infringe copyrights or trademarks, or in automated attempts to overload the service. You may use the tools for commercial work, such as client images, as long as the other terms are respected.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Image processing can have edge cases; verify important outputs (for example, a PDF you plan to file or print) before relying on them.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MergePNG and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of the site. Since the tools never receive your files, you remain in sole control of your data at all times, including its backup.

Advertising

The site displays third-party advertising (Google AdSense). Advertisements are not endorsements, and we are not a party to the transactions between you and advertisers.

Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the images you process; we claim no license over them because we never receive them. The site's name, design and code are protected by applicable law and may not be copied wholesale to operate a competing service from our materials.

Changes to the service and these terms

We may change or discontinue any part of the service at any time. If these terms change in a way that materially affects you, the updated date at the top of this page will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
